LED ZEPPELIN (1977)
THE STORY
To launch Art with Heart, it only felt right to begin with the photograph that ignited my journey into professional photography—Led Zeppelin at Madison Square Garden, June 8, 1977.
I wasn't a credentialed photographer that night, but I managed to bring in my Pentax Spotmatic loaded with Ektachrome slide film.
During the performance of “Achilles’ Last Stand,” I captured this rare image of the entire band in focus—despite the limitations of my gear at the time. Unbeknownst to me, the photo was later pirated and used for a concert poster and the cover of a Led Zeppelin bootleg album, which I only discovered decades later in 2019.
THE PRINT
Led Zeppelin 1977 is available as a Fine Art photographic print in a limited edition of 50, in two sizes:
8x10 - $95 (includes U.S. shipping)
11x14 - $125 (includes U.S. shipping)
Metal Print - Pricing available upon request
All prints are created using Epson Ultra Premium Luster Paper with archival Epson ink. Metal prints are crafted by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum for a vibrant, lasting finish.
THE CAUSE
20% of each Led Zeppelin 1977 sold will support Do It For The Love (www.doitforthelove.org), a nonprofit that brings people with life-threatening illnesses, children with severe challenges, and wounded veterans to live concerts, creating transformative experiences through the healing power of music.
